Like the Kinvara, the Peregrine 12 has a higher level of cushioning and protection than a true trail racer like the now-discontinued New Balance Summit Unknown. In comparison to other models, it's the only one to feature a 3-quarter length plate carbon-fibre plate and is the lightest and fastest Saucony trail shoe in the range. It also has a higher drop (6mm) than the Peregrine 12 and Endorphin Trail, which are both 4mm. Standard Delivery: In the event that you are not in when our courier attempts to deliver your parcel they will try to leave it in a safe place, if this is not possible they will leave a card so you can rearrange delivery The Ride 15 TR has a PWRTRAC outsole and lightweight and durable upper, with a FORMFIT design and supportive webbing, which aims to hug your foot to provide a more personalised feel. In closing, I’m really pumped about what’s going on with the Saucony Peregrine 12. This Peregrine is as close to the original heritage of the Peregrine as we’ve seen in a whole bunch of versions. Fit: B+ ( The fit is true-to-size in terms of length and width. The irritation caused from the high heel cup was enough to decrease points for me in this category.)Outside of Saucony, the Nike Terra Kiger 8 comes pretty close in overall fit and feel. The cushioned and low-profile (4 mm offset) midsole delivers ride comfort without feeling slow, and the breathable upper provides just the necessary level of protection. The durable outsole features an XT-900 carbon rubber for outstanding performance and grip, with 4.5mm carbon-rubber lugs to provide the best traction. Whether you are clambering through muddy terrain or grassy grounds, you should feel unstoppable. Personal: A- ( The biggest negative for me was the high heel cup irritating and causing blisters. The traction, comfort, and stability of the shoe make up for this minor irritation) Built using softer cushioning and grippy tread, the Saucony Ride 15 TR road to trail shoe has more foam, a durable feel, and everything you need to go further. Feel of the shoe: Nimble and lightweight. The GORE-TEX upper doesn’t change the fit - choose your usual size.

In the past, the Peregrine has come with a ‘top sole’ sitting beneath the insole and above the midsole. Lots of users found that after a while this extra layer of padding would come apart from the shoe, leading to durability issues. So if you’re in the early stages of transitioning from a higher drop (8-10 mm) trail shoe, our advice is to take it slow and gentle the first few runs. IS THE SAUCONY PEREGRINE 12 DURABLE? The Endorphin shoes feature revolutionary SPEEDROLL technology, which aims to propel you forward effortlessly towards that athletic edge, so you can run faster and not harder. Delivering an off-road running experience like no other. This lightweight, yet maximally cushioned, shoe is designed to carry you up, down, and over even the gnarliest of trails, taking speed to a whole new height. In the occasion where we are unable to find a manufacturing fault we may ask for a second opinion from the relevant brand. This applies to both kinds of straps – the thinner rubber ones like what Kahtoola uses, or a flat strap used on an Outdoors Research Gore-Tex gaiter. PROS AND CONS Terrain: The protective shoe for the same terrain as the Endorphin Trail but with a more protective upper suited to dusty paths and gravel. The firm ride is stable and feels at home during fast trail runs. Both the forefoot and heel are more than 20 mm tall, so there’s ample cushioning for on-trail comfort. The newly-introduced Pwrrun+ insole also enhances the step-in cushioning. Yes, this service is classified as UK standard delivery. For example, the Peregrine 12’s firm EVA foam midsole (Pwrrun) is well behaved during fast trail runs. Technology & key features: SPEEDROLL technology to allow you to roll over the trails, PWRRUN PB cushioning to give you a light and fast feel, and an ultra-grippy PWRTRAC outsole. Testers said the ghillie-style lacing let them cinch down the midfoot without creating hotspots. Trevor RaabFeel of the shoe: A lightweight, nimble trail shoe with good grip and cushioning. Saucony Peregrine 13 ST Feel of the shoe: Soft cushioning with SPEEDROLL technology aims to push you onto your toes and help propel you forwards. Saucony Endorphin Trail Mid Overall: A- (The Peregrine 12s have become a go-to option for me during the winter months when running in snowy and icy conditions. They’re a great option for tough terrain/conditions while not adding too much weight relative to a typical trainer. The traction provided by the lugs and the grip of the PWRTRAC outsole provide stability on all surfaces.) ) Break boundaries and release your inner trail seeker with the Saucony Endorphin Edge - a shoe designed to be super-fast, lightweight and cushioned for next-level performance. Terrain: The all-rounder trail shoe for a mixture of walking and running on grass and light trails with a GORE-TEX upper to keep your feet dry.

Despite the brand new midsole and outsole, the Peregrine 12 has a similar ride character as the 11. Delivery timescales are based on working days; Public Holidays, Saturday's and Sunday's are NOT classed as working days. The Saucony Peregrine 12’s fit feels a lot like some of recent Asics running shoes – snug in the forefoot, but long in the front. And yet, we recommend buying true-to-size.

The Peregrine is the trail version of Saucony’s popular road running Kinvara, which features the same 4mm drop. Run Commute Apparel - Trying Rabbit and Arc'Teryx pieces that are good for taking to work on the run Technology & key features: Carbitex™ carbon-fibre plate to propel you up hills and along the trails, Speedroll technology to allow you to roll over the trails, PWRRUN PB cushioning to give you a light and fast feel and an ultra-grippy PWRTRAC outsole. Another thing I’ll comment on is the width of the toebox. For a Peregrine, there’s a fair amount of room for your toes to wiggle. And you can see it’s a little blunter-looking. There’s some room for your toes to move and really nothing getting in the way. No material, no weird things. Just mesh that lets your toes do what they need to do.
