Use the processing power of your camera to expedite the development of RAW files with Olympus Workspace* while tethered via USB. if by working aperture, you mean the aperture being set and used, which I usually refer it to as nominal aperture, to differentiate it from "effective" aperture -- it is something that is physical[edit],limited by the edge of glass or edge of iris]/edit], rather than "calculated" or "derived".

I also find that the 50mm FOV on MFT is ideal for me for both portraits and landscapes, so it’s really a nice lens to have on my camera all the time. Finally, this new lens is more than twice as heavy as the Laowa. I used the OM System 90mm f3.5 Macro with the OM-1. I also tried out the 2x and 1.4x teleconverters to see how well they pair with the lens. A few photos were also shot with the Flashpoint R200 Ring Flash with the eVolve 200 Pro. All these products were loaner units provided to the Phoblographer. Innovations A 2x magnification ratio coupled with our Micro Four Thirds standard delivers a 4x 35mm equivalent magnification ratio. This will be the brand's furthest reaching macro for Micro Four Thirds and the only one to carry the 'Pro' distinction.Roland. More pixels indeed means more noise. However with macro photography we are more often than not chasing more DOF, this would essentially negate the 2 stop noise advantage offered by FF. Cropping a hi resolution FF to match the FOV of this lens on MFT would also crop away any noise advantage offered by FF. I was excited to work with a 2:1 macro lens optimized for Micro Four Thirds cameras, because I believe it serves as a reminder that the Micro Four Thirds format should not be slept on. Despite having limitations due to the smaller sensor size, the format has its advantages, and macro photography is one of them. You can fill the frame with tiny subjects more easily with the OM System 90mm f/3.5 Macro IS PRO than any other camera + lens combo on the market today. I spent much of my time with this lens saying, “I can’t believe that just focused on something so tiny.”

Photo credit: Amy Davies.panther fan: I do own either the 90mm or the 150-400mm, but if you ask your question on that thread, I'm sure you'll get an answer from oneofone25. I do own the 300mm Pro and the MC-20 does add more detail than simply cropping. When OM System first teased about the 90mm, I was itching to try it out. After trying a 2x macro manual focus lens, 1:1 autofocus macro lenses don’t feel that macro-ey anymore. But a 4x equivalent macro that can still autofocus? The 90mm sounds like a dreamy lens that’s able to achieve what few other lenses can. And, for the most part, that’s true. Here are my test shots from 1:1 magnification, plus extensive crops to show the sharpness. When you look at these crops, keep in mind that the ultra-thin depth of field makes the wider apertures “seem” blurrier than they are. In terms of sharpness, only pay attention to the in-focus regions. Lisa and Tom are photographic artists and workshop leaders who love to share their passion with others. CONNECT WITH LISA AND TOM I should have known, I also own and use a Sigma 105/2.8 (FT mount)... Problem with the 90mm could be its internal focusing and a more substantial loss of focal length when focusing close; also the barrel is quite long (also not as long as the fully extended Sigma)...
