About this deal

Also you have Cthulhu For President (the BEER Engine) - although I don't know if anyone has actually played that.

In Cthulhu: Death May Die, inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, you and your fellow players represent investigators in the 1920s who instead of trying to stop the coming of Elder Gods, want to summon those otherworldly beings so that you can put a stop to them permanently. You start the game insane, and while your long-term goal is to shoot Cthulhu in the face, so to speak, at some point during the game you'll probably fail to mitigate your dice rolls properly and your insanity will cause you to do something terrible — or maybe advantageous. Hard to know for sure. In a forgotten cave, in a far-away land, we found a dragon's egg. Nurtured on a bed of smoldering embers, it finally hatched . . . and these brightly colored dice spilled forth! This article needs additional citations for verification. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. tremulus – Utilizes a d6 system that is fairly rules-light called Powered by the Apocalypse. tremulus is a storytelling-first game that requires limited prep and emphasizes investigation and survival.Icons! I started by making a list of Cthulhoid symbols. The Elder Sign and Yellow Sign were easy, and the tentacle was obvious. And, of course, we had to show Cthulhu himself! Four symbols didn't seem like enough, so I added the Eye of Horus. It doesn't have anything in particular to do with the Mythos, but it's occult-looking ... and the eye is part of our logo. In-jokes for the win! You'll get one satin-lined drawstring bag in an eye-catching turquoise color and three different blank journals, perfect for recording your campaign notes. Each cover is beautifully illustrated by the incomparable Katie Cook. Also included are three custom six-sided dice, two with kitty paw prints for the pips, and the third featuring kitten icons with the numbers one through six.

Which comes to Fate. We do have FATE of Cthulhu coming out. But there was a game called Post-Cthulhu (published by Starbright Illustrations in 2016) which was a FATE Core game - I haven't seen it but it seems to be set after Cthulhu has risen. The same company also published Fantasy Cthulhu which involved a traditional fantasy setting being invaded by the usual Lovecraftian creatures and gods (also using FATE Core). Cthulhu Risus – Utilizes a d6, rules-light system called Risus. Cthulhu Risus offers a fast-paced and humorous take on Lovecraftian horror.Cthulhu for President – Utilizes a d6 system called the BEER Engine. Cthulhu for President offers tongue-in-cheek humor as players take on the role of Elder Party staffers in an attempt to get their Great Old One elected. Many of us grew up playing with green plastic army men. We've taken that classic design and turned it into the Army Men d6 Dice Set for grown-up play. The description lists it as perfect for 3 to 8 players. Munchkin is turn-based and card-centered. Strong role-playing aspects are introduced with several character classes that include Cultists – an essential Lovecraftian element. Arkham Horror was first released in 1987. Later editions of the game are published by Fantasy Flight Games. It’s meant to be played by 1 to 6 players as a turn-based adventure into the world of cultists and Cthulhu.

Eldritch Tales – Utilizes dice of multiple sizes (primarily d20) in a fairly rules-light system modeled on old-school games. Applies an old-school sword & sorcery RPG approach to Cthulhu settings. The Fall of Delta Green – A Delta Green prequel that utilizes the mostly points-based GUMESHOE System used in Trail of Cthulhu. Scenarios are usually set in the 1960s. They’ll also encounter exotic native races like the Deep Ones, undersea worshippers of the dreaming god Cthulhu, or the strange Mi-Go, fungoid-insectoid beings from the furthest corners of the solar system who have come to Earth for an unknown purpose. Towering over them all are the monsters, entities and gods of the Mythos themselves, who seek to take advantage of the chaos of the second world war to extend their dominion over the minds of men.Cthulhu Live – Utilizes a points-based live action roleplaying (LARP) system with no randomizer. Aims to stay true to the feel of Call of Cthulhu, where investigators are flesh-and-blood humans and violence is consequential. Silent Legions – Utilizes a d20 system based on Stars Without Number. Scenarios are usually set in modern times, and while inspired by Lovecraft, includes tools for gamemasters to create their own gods, monsters, cults, and more. The rulebook is intended as a creation toolkit focused on sandbox adventures. I am not sure if you want to mention PDQ - Three Kings - the Achtung Cthulhu scenario came in a PDQ version (as well as CoC, Savage Worlds and I think FATE) but nothing else in that line, including the other adventures in that campaign, ever did AFAIK. Call of Cthulhu d20 – Utilizes the d20-based system of Dungeons & Dragons, 3.5 edition. It was created to maintain the feel of the original Call of Cthulhu, but using a dice system that would be more familiar to Dungeons & Dragons players and which could allow for the porting of characters, monsters, and other content between the two universes. Currently out of print.

Cthulhu Wars: Duels is a smaller, more portable version of Cthulhu Wars by Petersen Games. In a way, it’s like the condensed Reader’s Digest version of the larger game: entirely standalone, with some details shortened.

These beautiful 19mm dice feature a pearlized finish, white pips, and the Cthulhu icon in place of the one pip. Love Letter is a game that some players will be well familiar with. The goal of Love Letter is to ensure the delivery of an important letter from one side to the next – and all game-actions will either help the player, or slow the process just a little.
