I find this kind of thing usually spends most of its time in a box after the first use because the need for large amounts of floor space is impractical, this solves that though: great idea. The idea is, you put the car in the chute, it goes down and around the first corner, into the launcher, gets thrown up across the gap onto the next part of the track, is propulsed up and around the track until it gets back to the starting point and jumps across the gap to start all over again. Overall I feel this item is good value for money and is robust enough to be left out to play with without being damaged. We already are plannign on adding to this and moving his entire bedroom around to all for more tracks and wall mounted kits! The instructions said it would take 20 minutes, but we managed it in 10 minutes without any rushing.

hehehe I have looked at these but hadn’t yet purchased one as we had a Hot Wheels floor track and I found it was cheaply made, didn’t stay together well and was more frustrating than playful to my son. It is okay to use 3M Command™ strips if the glass is not exposed to direct sunlight or not flooded with water. The only problem we encountered was the cars shooting off at speed and having to be retrieved from under cupboards.

The command strips really do seem to hold in place well, we've had ours in place for several months now and it has not moved at all or had to be re positioned on the wall, the instructions state the tracks may not attach well to wallpaper or vinyl surfaces but ours has held well onto wall paper. This toy has been on my wall for over a month and has remained there without any problems – even with a 5 year old having full access at all times. I was very impressed by how easy the product was to assemble and also the fact that it did not damage the wall. We purchased our first set from Target and gave it to my 3 year old son for his 3rd Birthday back in May.First we taped a large design template onto the wall, this has notches either side which guide you to the placement of your wall brackets. I also think the on-off button could be in a more accessible place and it's quite noisy - although I eventually decided that's a good thing because it saves it being left on and wearing out the batteries by mistake.

While I won’t say there are endless ways to customize the sets and put them together, you can find ways to put them together that fit best for your space. When I got the box I was chuffed to see there is now a colour poster included, which would brighten up our dull magnolia walls a treat! The instructions suggested 20 minutes to assemble but we found we were able to do this in about 10 minutes. I have those hooks all over my house, on plaster and sheetrocked walls, on wainscotting, on cabinets, etc.
