I wouldn't recommend this to someone with a deeper complexion, as I think they might pull a bit ashy. Althought it looks authentic on the outside upon reciept, once the platic seal is removed and the palette is opened, the squares have been cut out poorly leaving little traces of shredded platoc and the writing labelling each colour is not printed straight just making the whole palette look fake which it defo is.

I won't lie, it's not the most pigmented highlighter out there, so I use a different highlighter (Tarte) with a cool/icy finish underneath and put one of these on top to make stand out more. The deepest shade ( Butterscotch) adds warmth and shape to the perimeter of the face, nose and cheeks. I can already tell that the Moonchild Glow Kit is inspiring me to step outside of my comfort zone in regards to makeup, which is honestly amazing. The palette doesn’t contain a mirror but none of the previous glow kits have either so I couldn’t expect one, but it would have been nice because this would have been a perfect size to use as a travel palette and compact to do your makeup on the go. I do think some of these shades last longer than others for example, Lucky Clover, Purple Horseshoe and Blue Moon last the longest because they have a more colourful base to them whereas Star, Blue Ice and Pink Heart have more glitter and are more on the subtle side so wear off a little quicker but I experience this with most highlighters in general.
