There’s a lovely track of something like a wheel on a track and they’re panning to the left and the right at the beginning of the track. Add to that the distorted bass at high listening volumes, and Donner suddenly has some work in their hands. While Donner is proud of its Balanced armature and also promotes its Hybrid Dual Drivers on the box, they aren't really used to up the clarity in the sound. As I mentioned earlier, I was super excited to try an active noise-canceling true wireless earbud that had both a balanced armature and a dynamic driver built into it. It may not have app support, but the Earfun does have all important controls on the earbuds - including a gaming mode.

Without the gaming mode, audio and video don't align in Instagram and Twitter videos - an outdated performance. With a name that translates to “thunder,” Donner is a name that tells you exactly what you should expect from its range of audio products. In a crowded restaurant, I couldn’t hear anything but the loudest noises (heavily muffled, though) with ANC turned on.It can help you reduce the volume of your surroundings, but even when you're listening to music, you're likely to still hear brighter surrounding noise, like accelerating scooters or a vacuum cleaner in the office. Its vocals and (upper) mids instruments sound clearer and more natural, less metallic than on the HifiAir. Even with these drawbacks, the noise cancellation and sound performance are enough to make them a very worthwhile investment. I've been using these with an iPhone and spotify- They definitely block out a good amount of outside noise but only to a point.

Does its NXTPAPER technology make it an adequate blend of Android tablet and e-reader for enhanced productivity? Another favorite song I like to throw when I listen to Hi-Fi, or any kind of in-ear monitor or true wireless earbud, or headphones is “Shadow Boxing” by Parkway Drive which has some pretty heavy-hitting four-on-the-floor rock going on. I use my Donner earbuds daily, and I am very impressed with the range and sound quality as I mainly use them to listen to podcasts.The tuning needs some work though, especially the treble which can be easily fixed by placing a damper in front of the BA driver.

The 12mm driver itself gives a fantastic range of sound and truly delivers an excellent reproduction of sound in your ear. Hidden in the app settings is a Reduce Loud Sound mode that doesn’t do much to neutralize blaring noises.The earbuds are designed to create an immersive experience that helps you forget the world around you – but how well do they deliver on this promised sound?

They are comfortable, and because it's a personal preference to only wear one at a time, I am able to change ears throughout the day to avoid the pain and ache from all day wear. By providing one touch equalizer settings, it’s easy to customize audio to your environment and audio, such as one setting for music and another for gaming. Its product line includes guitars, digital pianos, and a host of other instruments and musical equipment and it was one of the first musical instrument brands to produce mini guitar effects. And, there are little bits in the middle that maybe aren’t there, which kind of adds to this extension of the soundstage. The materials used and the packaging complexity exudes quality from the get-go, and you feel assured that these are undoubtedly finely crafted products.Finally, you get a USB-C charging cable with the product, so you don’t have to go rooting through old cables to find something that works. This is great news because I was testing the headphones as is, with no music playing, just testing the general ANC alone! The double bass had some stellar reverb that tickled my ears with every pluck and blended nicely with the soulful sax and striking hi-hats. I will say, however, that these seem to be more geared to those who love to hear that bass in their music.
