Los Sunday's tequila is as good for the environment as it is for your tastebuds. The distillers strive to craft sustainable tequila that leaves the earth better than it found it. Located in Jalisco, Mexico, Los Sundays uses 100 percent agave in its spirits. The distillery's tequila has earned multiple international awards. Los Sundays Coconut Tequila successfully captures the sweet, fruity taste of coconut. The spirit has won three awards. Reposado (literally meaning ‘rested’) is the next level up and aged for a minimum of two months in oak, up to one year. This extra step means the liquid develops a light golden hue and generally a smoother, more mellow profile. Here you can expect sweeter notes, such as coconut and vanilla. Anejo

The coconut flavor dominates but is balanced with pineapple and lime to keep all the taste buds happy. The beverage is light and refreshing, yet completely satisfying. The lime juice calculates to 4.5 ounces. 4 ounces is 1/2 a cup. So I would try adding that amount and then adjusting with another squeeze of lime juice as needed. I cut down on the tequila a bit. For the 2x version I use 3oz instead of 4. Makes the drink a bit less bitter. Just dipping your toe into the world of tequila? It's worth getting to know 1800 Coconut. Infused with all-natural coconut extracts, this blanco blend is exceptionally well-balanced and requires just a dash of fresh pineapple juice and a wedge of lime to create a summer-ready serve (whatever the season) in seconds.Today’s beverage is a little bit like two in one: Pina Colada meets Margarita. Both are exceptionally good, and always make me think of a tropical vacation.

If you insist on slamming, this is generally what you’ll want to do it with. Diamond-clear and un-aged, the best examples are fresh and zippy with a citrus spike. Some cheaper bottles will burn, but we’ve bypassed those for small-batch tequilas that are silky smooth. Reposado Tequila is made exclusively from the blue agave plant, grown primarily in the area surrounding the city of — you guessed it — Tequila, in the western state of Jalisco, Mexico. However, if you don't want to buy a special flavor-infused tequila, I do understand. Once I had the recipe figured out, I made a coconut pineapple margarita again using a regular silver tequila. That was also an excellent drink.Tequila spent its long, storied history developing the perfect recipe. The spirit takes its name from its birth year. 1800 still uses the recipe that put the distillers on the map. The time-tested formula and distilling method made 1800 the most awarded tequila company in the world. 1800 infuses blanco tequila with sweet, refreshing, and natural coconut flavors to create the perfect tropical sip. Here’s a drink that’s creamy, cool, refreshing and an absolute must for any margarita lover: this Coconut Margarita recipe! After trying 30+ margarita variations, this one rose to the top because it’s not like any other margarita variation you’ve tried! Coconut pairs perfectly with the zing of lime and bite of tequila. The best part? The toasted coconut drink rim gives you a crunchy, tropical infusion to each sip. We love all our margarita recipes, but this one…this one is special. Ingredients in a coconut margarita Sure! Its pretty easy since the first 3 ingredients need 2 ounces each. Multiply by 6 to get 12 ounces. That is the same as 1 and 1/2 cups each of tequila, pineapple juice and cream of coconut. We recruited a panel of 10 testers, made up of WSET-trained experts and tequila fans, to give their thoughts on 40 blanco, reposado and añejo tequilas. Each was tried neat and then followed by some water to dilute and soften the alcohol, bringing out the more nuanced flavours. The Pineapple Coconut Margarita is a refreshing twist on a classic margarita. Made with fresh pineapple and organic unsweetened coconut milk, it has a smooth and creamy texture that perfectly balances the sweetness of the pineapple and coconut with the classic margarita taste of tequila, triple sec, and lime.

As a bartender, I have seen countless customers come in looking for a drink that will transport them to a tropical paradise. VIVIR is a British brand doing things properly. It uses traditional production methods, 100% blue weber agave (no nasty additives) and natural volcanic spring water found at the distillery — and trust us, you can taste it.

We made it our mission to find the world’s smoothest tequila, and we found it in Clase Azul’s luxury reposado. The brand only uses the finest organic agave (naturally). And the decanter? Well, that's handmade. Dip the rim in cream of coconut, then a plate of toasted coconut. You’ll just want the outer edge of the glass to be covered. It takes a little time, but it’s worth it for the flavor! I couldn’t decide between them, so I combined the flavors and made a Coconut Pineapple Margarita. Some might call it a Pina Rita. 😀 If you wanted to label it like we do beer, tequila is your commercial lager and mezcal is your craft beer. How to drink tequila in 2023 Tequila note: I used 1800 Coconut tequila for this drink. I wanted the maximum coconut flavor, and the tequila helped deliver!
