Description

These exemplary women serve as role models, especially for Muslim women, offering valuable lessons in faith and virtue.

Before the Hijrah (migration) of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) to Madinah, the disbelievers wanted to lay siege to his house, it was Ruqayyah bint Saifee (May Allah be pleased with her) who warned him.I can't help but think that a large portion of this tendency is a result of saudis cultural view of women and that the translation and choice of what to tell about these women were made through that cultural lens. She tends to fast the whole and prays a lot at night and has also performed hajj nearly 30 times in her lifetime. In the year 35 AH, when Caliph ‘ Uthman (RA) was martyred and there was chaos and confusion over who was next in the line of succession, it was she who brought unity into the ranks by influencing the Muslims of Basrah (Iraq) and Makkah. These four women changed the course of human history, through their perseverance, faith and courage. Some suggestion when reading this book is to prepare a paper and jot down the name and the relationships.

Although the original book is in the Urdu language, the efforts of the translator had made it more beneficial for the readers. And particularly egregious are several places where a sentence will use the wrong person’s name entirely - which becomes a problem if you’re not reading closely! Hijab, according to one prominent school of Islamic theology, is the total protection of everything excludi. All the Mothers of the Believers were of very noble character and conduct and pleased Allah so much that He sent special greetings for Khadijah (RA). A), was required to protect themselves and their families during the battle that erupted following the Prophet's demise over authority. And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, “My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people. They were the pure, virtuous crusaders of Islam, and were honoured during the very lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with the prediction that they would live forever in Paradise in the hereafter.

But with the level of their Eeman and Taqwa, they never allow these emotions to lead them away from Allah swt instead their struggles is what drives and motivates them to get even closer to Allah swt and obey his Messenger saw. Despite all the hardships she faced from people accusing her chastity she remained steadfast and obeyed Allah with unceasing faith. even though the stories of each women are not detail but through it i started to know the well known women in history, the names of Prophet's wives, and so on. They were those pure and virtuous women of Islam who were honored during the very lifetime of the Prophet with the prediction that they would live forever in Paradise in the Hereafter. These influential women tried their best to do something good by following the path of Islam and many of them are also mentioned with name in the Quran.

I hope that my every sister will study this book thoroughly and try their best to follow these noble women of ISLAM. Authentic and Reliable: Authored by a respected scholar, "Great Women of Islam" is a trusted source of Islamic history. Akram Nadwi authored the largest compilation on female Islamic scholars, titled Al-Wafa bi Asma al-Nisa, spanning over two decades and containing a repository of more than 10,000 entries.

Aisha RA reported that she’d never seen anyone resemble the Prophet PBUH more in speech, character and conversation. Following the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ, she went through a great amount of suffering and undertook many sacrifices to support his mission. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to mention her (Khadija) very often, and whenever he slaughtered a sheep, he would cut its parts and send them to the women friends of Khadija. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah ].Besides the Mothers of the believers, the compiler of the book has included the description of those sixteen women who had been given the good news of the paradise in this world by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). A great book to read on the subject especially since some of them are related to each other and you would feel like some parts of the book are repetitive even if the event is experienced from a different angle. There is no distinction between them in terms of their connection to Allah, as both are guaranteed the same reward for good behavior and the same penalty for wicked behavior. This book is about the life stories of the Mothers of the Believers and 16 other Sahaabiyaat who had been given the good news of the paradise in this world by Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). Some women have had a great role and status in Islam and are, therefore, revered and appreciated in Islamic history.
