This book is a perfect edition for anyone wanting to delve into the dark realms of the GW universe without all the game stats. It will involve lots of blood stains and "Blood for the Blood God" scrawled over offensive parts in big, red, dripping letters. There were even eras of the game where the Witch Elves, Khaine's worshippers, blatantly wore Khornate icons. Oldest of gods and greatest of warriors, Khorne's armies stretch from infinity to infinity to infinity and the Pleasure God may not rival Him.

Over the years, I obviously stumbled upon some of the limited edition stuff, but I don’t remember how it went down exactly. Even with its few issues Liber Chaotica still remains a very strong addition to the Black Library's volumes.

Most were excellently written, but the one which seems prized above almost all of them was the Liber Chaotica. Its very long, all written in cursive, and sometimes the background art makes it very hard to read words. While it outlines a great deal of lore from many viewpoints, and covers familiar territory, it nevertheless avoids pinning down Chaos to a few distinct elements. It's a great depiction of each element, and it shows just why there has never been some final victory against the gods.

Given that this is likely to be a limited run, I would definitely suggest getting this one while it's still on shelves.
