Applying it tends to be much easier than using a pre-prepared aerosol can though this method can be less cost-effective than buying larger quantities of liquid, especially if you clean it off and re-apply it periodically. ACF-50 can be a little reluctant to come out of the aerosol can on a cold day, so keep it indoors for a while, or put it in some warm water. As if all of that wasn’t enough, there is the added bonus that with continued reapplication, FS365 makes cleaning your motorcycle easier as it can be easily removed – along with the dirt it collects – with any decent motorcycle wash.

ACF-50 corrosion preventer does what it says on the tin – the ACF stands for Anti-Corrosion Formula – and it was originally designed for the aerospace industry by Lear, the aircraft manufacturer. It was soon adopted by the automotive and motorcycling fraternities since it was a great product to protect cars and bikes from the ravages of a British winter – and in some cases, summer too. Do not start first aid before ensuring your own safety (switch off electrical current, wear gloves for chemicals etc.) One final thought for you. Remember to keep using FS365 once the weather warms up and the sun comes out. WHO is promoting interventions that have been shown to be successful in reducing the incidence of burns. FS365 is a good product for frequent use, and by frequent I mean after ever ride, which can be quite costly. If you want to protect your motorcycle FS365, ACF50 and XCP will all do an excellent job, providing they are used for the right job.

DO NOT spray FS 365 on the brake discs, callipers or tyres, although if you do, don’t panic, it will hose off with water without damage. Improve the design of cookstoves, particularly with regard to stability and prevention of access by children. Steve - I think you are saying that although you don't ride your bikes in the winter you understand that the acf50 would give good protection. That's not my experience - it's gone in no time in wet weather and once it's gone the salt is a nightmare. And if you wash your bike with a shampoo after a wet dirty ride, the acf50 is more or less gone despite what they say. It's brilliant stuff for stored machinery, and in places where it's not going to get washed out (so the misting spray applied by professional firms, is great for getting into parts of the frame and recessed bolt heads, but they don't even attempt to do the wheels. They say it's because it hasn't to get on the brake disk or callipers, but they could easily simply cover them and then spray the spokes and rims but they don't bother I think because they know it's pointless). So if that post holds the ‘considered’ top two products, why then the need for this post? Simply some people havent heard of the products above or have been fed mis-information on the use (or usefulness) of these others. FS365 approaches motorcycle protection from a different angle. Rather than create another barrier protector in the same style as ACF50, Scottoiler – the manufacturer of FS365 – decided to investigate how to stop the corrosion process from happening in the first place. I drilled 2.5mm holes (with a pillar drill for consistency) in all the samples of the three different plastics, then carefully inserted stainless steel M3 self-tapping screws to create stress risers that highlight any incompatibilities between the material and the chemical. br/>
In general by supplying a lubricant to all metal surfaces which builds up as you re-apply, protecting them from the air. The Organization is also supporting the development and use of a global burn registry for globally harmonized data collection on burns and increased collaboration between global and national networks to increase the number of effective programmes for burn prevention.

underlying medical conditions, including epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy, and physical and cognitive disabilities; FS 365 Complete Bike Protector Spray is the award-winning spray-on solution from Scottoiler, specially formulated to stop corrosion and make cleaning and maintaining your pride and joy super easy. Take to the road without having to worry about gritty surfaces, or excess dirt damaging your bike. No Hassle - Just Ride. FS 365 is water-based, which allows it to travel across the bike when sprayed into all of the difficult nooks and crannies you wouldn't be able to reach normally. It's a blend of mineral oil, surfactant, anti-corrosion additives and the aforementioned water aspect too. It's also readily biodegradable - meaning when you wash/buff it off, environmental impact is eased compared to other non-biodegradable substances. It is so good at it's job that I use it on the Chain Saw, Petrol Hedge Trimmer and the Lawnmower, the cars, the bikes and the iron gates. With ACF50 you apply a nice coating and … leave it. You can spray extra on occasionally, as you see fit. The engine looks absolutely filthy after a while, but that means its doing its job. I only cleaned the engine once or twice last winter, which meant reapplying the ACF afterwards, and it has survived fine. For the fork legs, I would clean and reapply every time I washed the bike.

Economic impact

The higher risk for females is associated with open fire cooking, or inherently unsafe cookstoves, which can ignite loose clothing. Open flames used for heating and lighting also pose risks, and self-directed or interpersonal violence are also factors (although understudied). Age It is just wrong. There is no comparison, and it isn’t because one is better than the other. FS365 from Scottoiler and ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Lubricant are excellent products that achieve the same objective, but they do so in very different ways. Personally, I use ACF-50 and between applications or after a particularly wet ride out I then cold rinse the bike and give it a good liberal dose of FS365. I don’t know how necessary that is or isn’t but me me it has left my bikes spotless, winter after winter. Promote the introduction of and compliance with industrial safety regulations, and the use of fire-retardant fabrics for children’s sleepwear.

The process of rusting and oxidising requires water vapour, air and time (salt and heat speed up this process, acting as catalysts to the reaction). The FS 365 acts as a corrosion inhibitor in two further ways:XCP Clear Coat is easy to apply from the spray bottle and hangs onto no more grit after rinsing than TechCote. It can also be poured straight into a paint gun’s pot and applied with a compressor. Clear Coat in an aerosol can is extremely easy to use and only missed out on a Best Buy as the bottle is better value. If you don’t mind paying a bit extra, and won’t want to apply it with a compressor, it’s worth the money. The protectants were tested for material compatibility, to ensure they can’t harm any on your motorbike fs365 from scottoiler does a good a job, its a light oil film in water, it washes off and dries out too so constantly needs reapplying. but its loads cheaper than acf50 and a bottle lasts a long time, ive had mine for a year and its not used up yet. It not only protects but kills existing corrosion – handy if you’re coming to an older bike that’s been left, for example, or you haven’t managed to get to yours as often as you’d have liked and is safe for electrics as well.
